The Blessing of a Failed Vision

Visions are much more than plans just meant to be followed. They are at least as much about an ideal as they are about a prescription for the future. As such, the success of a vision need not depend on whether or not it materializes. Moreover, it is precisely because they are so far out of reach that they are so inspiring.
